The Lake Houston area experienced increases in median home prices over the last 10 years, some as little as $116,000 in the Kingwood Northwest/Oakhurst neighborhood versus the largest increase of $213,500 in the Porter/New Caney East community. The highest median priced homes in Lake Houston are found in Fall Creek, south of Beltway 8 near Summerwood/Lakewood. Much of the increase came leading into the pandemic where prices were in the $298,000 range. Four years later, homes spiked by $105,000. A new home in Fall Creek is median priced at $403,000.
