There is a chance of up to 5 inches of snow Tuesday and Wednesday in the snow belt east of Cleveland and it will be very cold. CLEVELAND, Ohio — The water in Lake Erie is colder, but not cold enough to prevent the lake-effect from targeting the snow belt east of Cleveland.
The good news is not a lot of snow is in the forecast. An estimated 3 to 5 inches could fall by Wednesday afternoon. The Ohio Department of Transportation is encouraging residents to delay unnecessary travel during the advisory.
