KwaZulu-Natal has emerged as the province with the second-highest level of reported corruption. ECRNewsWatch KZN

The organisation's executive director Karam Singh says the types of corruption reported at provincial government level during 2022 were similar to trends seen the previous year.

Bribery and so-called sextortion make up 11%, while kickbacks and procurement irregularities were 9% of the complaints.
