Kyler Murray is readying himself for a 'reset' and that needs to include how he embraces his next head coach with the Arizona Cardinals.
Diana Payan, Arizona Republicand the following day, Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals quarterback had a conversation over the phone about what was to come next.
“He’s never been through this obviously, but he’s excited,” Kingsbury said. “I think it can be kind of a reset for him. We know we had our struggles this year offensively and we feel we can play at a much higher level. I think he understands that, and he can build himself back better and attack this thing.
You know what else will define Murray’s NFL career? How well or how poor he decides to embrace his next head coach and how committed he is to learning and operating whatever type of offense is presented to him.It surely will look different than what he had his first four seasons with Kingsbury and as much as the next coach will try to build the offense around what Murray does best, the quarterback needs to be ready to adapt and adjust.
