Speaking to Danish tabloid B.T, Communication Expert Anna Thygesen said the King likely ignored questions about his anniversary due to concern he would be pressed about his alleged secret romance. The couple only slightly acknowledged their wedding anniversary with a post on Instagram showing them happily sailing from Denmark to Norway in the days leading to the gala dinner in the Norwegian capital.
The snap showed the King and Queen smiling onboard the Royal Ship Dannebrog in matching puffer vests, although reports indicate any romance between the two was in tatters. Genoveva has slammed rumours she was in secret romance with the King and said the pair are just friends.
