NORTH POLE , Alaska - With Christmas only days away, visitors and Interior community members alike can meet Santa Claus in person at the Santa Claus House in the City of North Pole .
Victoria Zimmerman, who works as one of Santa’s Helpers, has been with Santa Claus House for just over a year. She said the best part of her job is probably seeing people’s faces when they’re at the store. According to Operations Manager Paul Brown, the store sees hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.A display of Santa’s workshop greets guests, complete with a list of children’s names, and blueprints for toys in development.According to Santa, his reindeer are ready to go for the big night, where they must fly around the world, delivering presents to the world’s children.
