Fortunately, no one was injured in this bizarre Lake Forest crash. Fire crews had to isolate the water grid to stop water from shooting out of the fire hydrant. Repairing the Kia could be costly if it's sustained water damage. The owner of this silver Kia in California had a wet and soggy evening on Sunday after getting into a crash with a white pickup truck in the small city of Lake Forest.
Footage shared on X shows the sedan, which appears to be a silver Kia Optima, resting against the white pickup with its rear end directly above a broken fire hydrant. The force of the water pushed the rear of the Kia into the air, creating a scene that looked fit for a movie and not one locals would have expected to see on the evening commute. Fortunately, the drivers of the Kia and the pickup had gotten out of their vehicles before the firemen arrived.
