Love's post-up bucket Sunday night marked his 2,481st field goal with the Cavaliers.
The 15-year veteran out of UCLA has spent nine years with Cleveland as part of the return of LeBron James, four-straight NBA finals and one unforgettable 2016 NBA championship run.
His highest field goal total came in the 2014-2015 season, where he notched 413 field goals. He tallied 409 a year later. Love made over 300 or more field goals in six of eight completed seasons with the Cavaliers. The veteran has averaged 15.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 43.1% from the field and 37.8% from 3-point range in 477 games with the Cavaliers.
Love is making a strong case to have his name hanging in the rafters of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse one day. He is currently ninth in franchise points scored with 7,592. Love is second to only James as the franchise’s 3-point leader with 1,085 3-pointers. On the defensive side, Love is third in franchise history with 3,658 defensive rebounds and ranks seventh in total rebounds with 4,415.
