Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell has issued his verdict on the need for signings and the possibility of a relegation fight
Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell says that it is 'vital' Sean Dyche is handed attacking reinforcements before the transfer window shuts whilst fearing another relegation battle is on the cards.
Campbell, the scorer of 48 goals in 157 Everton appearances between 1999 and 2005, is just one supporter of the club fearing the worse. Speaking to Sky Sports about the current predicament he has stressed the need for more numbers in attack heading into a vital campaign. "That's all at the top end of the pitch - the type of people who make things happen. They are gold dust when you look at this Everton side, so Everton really have to knuckle down and get some signings over the line so they can push on.Campbell was then asked if the recent performances are cause for concern and for a verdict on whether Blues fans are to consign themselves to another relegation battle.
