Keon Sabb had one big regret in his Alabama football debut

Keon Sabb had an elite start to his Alabama football playing days. There was one thing he wished had gone different, though.

Sabb ran the second interception back 64 yards and looked like he might make it to the end zone. Sabb didn’t, however. Western Kentucky stopped him, forcing him out of bounds.

“It felt good,” Sabb said. “Should have scored, though. Should have scored. It’s alright. More to come.” The Michigan transfer played in his first game since transferring to the Crimson Tide after he won a national championship with the Wolverines in January. He started alongside Malachi Moore back at safety in a game Alabama won 63-0 over Western Kentucky on“Keon Sabb, a guy was at the right spot at the right time and made the plays,” Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said. “That’s what it’s all about. A lot of guys will be where they need to be and all that.
