Packets and updates also simplify the transition for athletes from middle school to Heights High, with pertinent pre-, post- and off-season information, including conditioning programs.“It was such a fun day and a huge celebration for Tiger Nation,” Gallagher said. “We had our bus drivers doing their song-and-dance, decorated pickup trucks and floats like the Fairfax magic school bus. Then we hosted a tailgate outside Heights High.
Setting up the Heights Athletic Boosters took about a year, and started with talking to D’Amato and identifying gaps. “Between these two exciting events, we expect nearly 3,000 spectators,” school officials said. “Because parking at Heights High will be limited that evening, we will provide free bus transportation from the Severance Town Center parking lot to Heights High School and back for anyone who would like to use it.”
