Netflix has released the first official Kaos trailer, previewing the upcoming mythological dark comedy series starring Jeff Goldblum as Zeus.
The new trailer shows off an angry Zeus as he seems fed up with humanity, and slowly becomes paranoid with the fact that his reign may be ending. The trailer also highlights the rest of the cast, which includes Janet McTeer, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, Killian Scott, Debi Mazar, and Aurora Perrineau.“Having long enjoyed his status as king of the gods, Zeus’s reign has never been truly threatened,” reads the official logline.
Kaos is created, written, and executive produced by Charlie Covell, who has previously worked with Netflix on the teen dark comedy The End of the F***ing World. The 10-episode series is described as a contemporary reimagining of Greek mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power, and life in the underworld.
