Shopify removed Kanye West's Yeezy website after he only listed a shirt with a swastika on it following a Super Bowl ad promoting the clothing item.
‘s Yeezy website, which as of yesterday only sold a t-shirt with a large swastika on it, has been removed. On Tuesday, a Shopify spokesperson confirmed to“All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform,” read the statement. “This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify.”
Shopify’s terms of service state that it will act “to restrict products or activities that we deem unsafe, inappropriate or offensive.”during the Super Bowl for a Yeezy commercial. The clip, reportedly shot with an iPhone, featured West in a dentist’s chair asking people to go to his website where he was selling the white t-shirt with a swastika.after allegedly targeting her for her Jewish religion, sending pornographic materials, and insulting her looks when she was upset.
