Harris on the economyHarris told Bash that inflation had reduced to under three percent and that America had recovered from COVID 'faster than any wealthy nation around the world.'Inflation is currently at 2.9 percent, its lowest level since March 2021, and down from a peak of 9.1 percent in June 2022.The Organization for Economic cooperation and Development shows that U.S. GDP has increased by 9.4 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels.
