Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs may have been handed a boost in their hopes to sign SC Braga winger Kobamelo Kodisang after the 22-year-old’s proposed loan to Primeira Liga side GD Chaves reportedly collapsed over the weekend.
That is according to Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepúlveda – who was the first to break the news of Kodisang’s links to Chaves – who claimed that the former Platinum Stars and It remains to be seen whether Chiefs will return to the negotiating table following the latest developments, but the club’s chances of acquiring his services, if they still wish, may have been boosted with the start of the new season drawing nearer.
