before 1 a.m. Tuesday in Sag Harbor, located on the eastern end of Long Island, after an officer saw his BMW run a stop sign and he failed to stay in his lane, the Sag Harbor Police Department said in a statement.“A traffic stop was initiated by a police officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition,” the statement said.
Timberlake was arrested in Long Island, New York, on Monday night after being accused of driving while under the influence, police said.He was taken into custody, held overnight for a morning arraignment and then released at 9:30 a.m. on his own recognizance, police said. The 43-year-old is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which started in April.
