Former pilot Gregory Lynn has pleaded not guilty to the murders of campers Russell Hill and Carol Clay as opening statements are set to be outlined to the Supreme Court jury today.

Opening statements in the case of accused missing campers’ killer Gregory Lynn are set to be outlined to a Supreme Court jury for the first time on Friday, day one of the airline pilot’s murder trial.to two counts of murder over the deaths of Russell Hill, 74, and Carol Clay, 73, as a 14-person jury was selected.will bring you regular updates of the trial when it starts from 10.30am.Lynn is accused of killing Hill and Clay at Wonnangatta Valley, in the state’s Alpine region, in March 2020.

The prosecution alleges all three were camping at Bucks Camp in the valley when the killings occurred.In directions to the jury, Justice Michael Croucher said that to convict Lynn, the prosecution must prove its case beyond reasonable doubt, the highest standard of proof Victoria’s law required.A new podcast from 9News, The Age and 9Podcasts will follow the court case as it unfolds.
