A Harris County judge revised the bond conditions on Friday for three county employees facing criminal charges linked to a controversial Covid vaccine contract after one defendant was accused of violating the terms of his bond.

Former county worker, Aaron Dunn, who no longer works for County Judge Lina Hidalgo attends a hearing at the 174th Criminal District Court, Friday, May 13, 2022, in Houston.

Both Triantaphyllis and Nader still work for County Judge Lina Hidalgo, while Dunn works at the Harris County Flood Control District. All three have been charged with felony misuse of official information and tampering with records. Judge Natalia Cornelio on April 12 set the bond conditions, which were not documented in court records and were not transcribed by a court reporter.

Triantaphyllis’ attorney argued that Cornelio did not define the bond conditions as broadly as prosecutors were stating, according to court documents.
