12-year-old boy shot at apartment complex in northwest Harris County, Pct. 1 says

A 12-year-old boy was shot at an apartment complex in northwest Harris County Thursday, Precinct 1 constable deputies said.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 2:30 a.m. at an apartment complex located at 7302 Alabonson Rd.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the boy with a gunshot wound. Deputies said he was breathing when they arrived. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department transported the boy to Texas Children’s Hospital, where his condition is currently unknown. Deputies said there are no further details at this time. An investigation is underway to determine where the shots came from.
