Throughout the course of where I’ve been, I always thought I was working hard enough in the beginning. Every time I got somewhere new, I realized I wasn’t doing enough at my previous stop. I had to change my habits. I need to do more. I can never do enough. When I was at JUCO, I didn’t think too negatively. Yeah, I’m down bad right now, I’m broke, but this is nothing to me. This is how I grew up. I’ve been in this situation before. I can survive this.
Jose Ramirez: I was blessed just to receive an invite. They gave me an opportunity to prove myself against some of the best competition in the nation. There were so many amazing athletes out there. I competed at the highest level against guys from bigger schools. I was thankful for the opportunity to go there.Jose Ramirez: I have to thank my coaches and my teammates. So many people helped me get there, but I have to credit my discipline as well. I was so disciplined.
