Person of Interest debuted on CBS on September 22, 2011. The sci-fi series ran for five seasons, concluding on June 21, 2016. The Jonathan Nolan masterpiece series merged genres, using crime thriller and sci-fi elements to become an intriguing show. Person of Interest followed Harold Finch , a billionaire programmer who created"the Machine," an entity that used all available information to predict crimes. As the government was only interested in stopping threats to national security, Finch hires John Reese , a former U.S. Army and CIA member, to take care of the day-to-day crimes that would slip through the cracks. On Rotten Tomatoes, Person of Interest holds a near-perfect 92% critics' score. The sci-fi series also boasts a high 80% audience score. While Person of Interest is trending worldwide on Netflix, the Jonathan Nolan sci-fi series is not available on the streaming service in the United States. Instead, those who want to watch the show in the US should go to Prime video.
