JOHOR BARU, March 5 — Special operations are being carried out to help flood victims in critical areas in the state, said Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.
“Special operations in critical areas are ongoing and will continue to help flood victims. Several matters were also decided during the meeting,” he said in a Facebook posting last night. Onn Hafiz said proper preparations and coordination had been made for the possibility of another wave of flooding following a danger-level continuous rain warning issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department issued for several Johor districts.
