PUTRAJAYA, March 3 — The federal government has agreed to provide special aid to Johor totalling RM50 million to deal with the devastating flood there, government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil announced today.

This was decided in the Cabinet meeting this morning, he said at a press conference held at the Communications and Digital Ministry in Putrajaya. “At the same time, we would like to extend our condolences to the flood victims, particularly in Johor which affected 32,716 victims across 10 districts involving 9,910 families according to the National Disaster Management Agency at noon,” he said.
