JOHOR BARU, Jan 17 —The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officers from the Kluang branch today detained a staff member of a school in Johor over alleged abuse of power to obtain supply and maintenance contracts about eight years ago.

According to sources, the two male suspects, aged 41 and 60, were detained at the Kluang MACC office between 11am and 11.30am today after they came to give their statements to investigators. At the same time, the former principal of the school is also said to have a shared intention of approving the works to the company involved.
