Despite his recent retirement, wrestling icon John Cena is set to return to WWE in an unexpected role next month.
The Face That Runs the Place is heading to WWE’s version of the Super Bowl. On Monday, Cena shared a video revealing that he will be hosting “Ah, retired life in the sun. I’m kidding! Check out the backdrop.

I am absolutely 100% done.”While the 48-year-old won’t wrestle anymore, he plans to remain involved with the company in other ways. Hosting WrestleMania falls under that category. WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
