Executive Director of Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity, Katelyn Skipper, said his involvement inspired more people to join the organization’s mission of providing affordable housing.Carter and his wife Rosalynn were advocates for affordable housing. According to Habitat for Humanity, they helped build, renovate, or repair more than 4,447 homes in 14 countries.
