Rep. Jim_Jordan blasts DOJ's 'heavy-handed tactics' after anti-abortion activist's arrest
Rep. Jim Jordan said the recent FBI raid and arrest of Catholic father and anti-abortion activist Mark Houck is another example of corruption within President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice.
The activist pleaded not guilty to two counts of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act Tuesday in a Philadelphia federal court.The activist was arrested Friday on federal assault allegations stemming from an incident last year involving a hostile abortion rights activist. “He stepped between them and asked him to stop,” said Brian Middleton, a spokesman for the Houck family. “The man continued to lean in and verbally abuse [and so] Mark extended his arms to get the assailant away from his son.”
Houck’s wife has also noted that her husband’s arrest took place around 7 a.m. Friday morning as 25-30 agents entered their home with “big, huge rifles” drawn, causing their children to scream and cry.
