Supernatural and The Boys star Jensen Ackles makes a perfect Batman in a new DC Comics movie deepfake video. A new DC Universe is on its way as James Gunn and Peter Safran are leading the recently launched DC Studios together. The Flash movie will help to reset the DCEU into the DC Universe, which begins with Superman: Legacy in 2025. The co-CEOs announced a number of projects in January for Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters," including a Batman movie titled The Brave and the Bold.

Batman v Superman was one of the major cornerstones for the DCEU since it marked the first time the characters shared the big screen together in live-action. Replacing Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the footage pits Ackles against Henry Cavill's Superman.Why Jensen Ackles Would Be Perfect As Batman In The DC Universe For years, Ackles has been a consistent name brought up in several fan castings for Batman.
This would be the golden opportunity for Ackles to finally portray the Caped Crusader in live-action. With Ackles being the perfect age as a Batman with kids, The Brave and The Bold movie is coming at the right time. Through a lot of Ackles' work, he can easily nail Batman's brooding presence and Bruce's charismatic aspects. It's one thing if Ackles had been proposed for The Batman, as he wouldn't fit the age range.
However, playing an established Batman who learns about his biological son is perfect for Ackes. Given that they have yet to get a creative team for the reboot, it will be some time before they start casting Batman. Ackles is also a major Batman fan himself, having gone as far as having his own costume. Hopefully, Ackles will get the chance to finally play Batman in live-action after all these years.
