The “Never Been Kissed” actress threw the “Last Thing He Told Me” star an impromptu 51st birthday party on “The Drew Barrymore Show” Monday.
Drew Barrymore gave Jennifer Garner the ultimate surprise while celebrating the “Alias” star’s 51st birthday.Monday and was moved to tears after receiving back-to-back gifts.
“I mean, we mentioned that it’s your birthday today, but I think we need to kick it up a notch,” Barrymore told her guest. “Let’s get a change of birthday scenery … hit it!” the daytime host continued as balloons fell from the ceiling. “You’re bananas,” Garner, who was also presented with a plaque and a bouquet of flowers, could be heard saying over the studio audience cheering.The Drew Barrymore ShowBarrymore, 48, then presented the “Last Thing He Told Me” star with a “very meaningful” honor from her hometown of Charleston, W.Va.
“From here on out, April 17 will be known as Jennifer Garner Day in Charleston,” the “Charlie’s Angels” star announced.Charleston’s mayor, Amy Goodwin, then appeared in a video message, presenting Garner with a key to the city along with her own holiday thanks to her “commitment to the arts, passion for West Virginia and giving spirit.”Garner became visibly emotional after learning April 17 is now officially Jennifer Garner Day in Charleston, W.Va.
