Former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he does not plan to get involved in the 2025 mayoral race in Mobile.

Sessions, who served as attorney general from 2017 to 2018 and represented Alabama in the U.S. Senate from 1997 to 2017, is a longtime Mobile resident. He lauded Stimpson’s performance over his three terms as mayor.
