PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) have done the unthinkable and shocked South Korean FA Cup champions Suwon Bluewings 2-1 in their AFC Champions League Group G encounter.

JDT, the defending Super League champions defeated the Korean team at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri on Tuesday .

Gonzalo Cabrera got the ball rolling when the thumped in a penalty in the 13th minute, but Suwon fought back through Terry Antonis in the 51st minute. However, the Southern Tigers had the last laugh when Mauricio Nascimento scored the winner in the 73rd minute. It was certainly sweet victory for JDT as they obtained their first three points of the campaign after losing to Japanese club Vissel Kobe 1-5 in their first match last month.
