She was then given the all clear, however, scans in recent months have shown that the cancer has returned meaning the 62-year-old will need to undergo further chemotherapy. She penned: "I miss my hair, I miss my ovaries and womb and I missed the symptoms of ovarian cancer don’t let that happen to you 1. Bloating and swollen tummy 2. Feeling full before you eat 3. Peeing too much 4. Sore abdomen."And many of her followers praised her for raising awareness. One wrote: "Using your profile to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer; is so helpful and could save others. I tend to retweet selectively.
Shortly after her diagnosis, the comedian decided to shave her long locks off before she lost them due to the side effects of chemotherapy. At the time, she shared the emotional black and white photograph of her husband Sean's hands on her head as he used an electric razor to shave her hair.
