The comedian is about to embark on a standup tour while undergoing chemotherapy to treat her ovarian cancer.
Talking about the upcoming 'Not Dead Yet' tour, she told the Loose Ends podcast: "I am not dead yet. I have ovarian stage 3 cancer and I'm getting some more treatment."But I'm not a woman who dies on my knees, I'll die standing on my feet. So I'm ready to go on tour and if I happen to be on stage and just peg it right there I think that'll be cracking.Godley said she would be getting treatment for her cancer between gigs.
Just a few days ago, Janey reflected on the year she has had by sharing an emotional snap of her husband shaving off her hair back in February. And as she headed into the new year, despite her cancer returning and having to undergo even more treatment, Janey reshared the snap and said it was her favourite of the year.
