What was Groot’s last line in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
Near the end of the movie, Groot says, “I love you guys” to the Guardians of the Galaxy. A theory by i09 posited that this could be the audience understanding Groot now after spending multiple movies with him rather than Groot actually verbalizing words other than “I am Groot.”user tweeted Gunn to see if this was true, the filmmaker confirmed that this was “exactly” what Groot’s last line meant.
