The Ibrox CEO wants the Rangers board to be transparent with fans and says they share their frustrations.
James Bisgrove's old job at Ibrox was essentially about making sure Rangers raised as much cash as they could by flogging kits and luring in sponsors.
“When the team isn’t winning the supporters are frustrated and at times angry - we share in that frustration, admitted the 39-year-old. That was what underpinned the decision to part company with Michael and his staff. The standards didn’t meet the expectations in terms of performances. “As Philippe said, the power they can have when they are behind the team and the energy they can put onto the players’ performance is huge. It is something that is fundamental to our strategy.
“That’s exactly why we asked Graeme to be part of the process and we thank him for giving up his time,” said Bisgrove when asked if the former player/manager and the new gaffer both shared a view on what it takes to make Rangers successful again.
