The Ibrox legend played an important role in the process.
Rangers chief executive James Bisgrove has hailed Ibrox legend Graeme Souness as a"great help" in the process of appointment Philippe Clement as the new manager.
The former Light Blues boss joined members of the board in interviewing candidates before deciding on the Belgian. Clement has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Rangers and Bisgrove opened up on Souness' role in the negotiations. He said:"Graeme was a great help. he added a lot of value and I thank him for his time. Some of the criteria we set out were so in line with Graeme's own characteristics and he was able to ask those questions from a place of experience.Readers’ comments: You are personally liable for the content of any comments you upload to this website, so please act responsibly.
