“I had chills standing before the national anthem, just seeing his play-by-play and, obviously, I know the significance that he is to this organization,” Winston said. “I’m very honored that Coach Stefanski, he said at the beginning of the day that all he wanted to do is give a game ball to Jim Donovan’s family. So thank you Jim for all you’ve done for this organization. Your family is going to continue being my prayers and I’m just happy we were able to do that for him and his family.
This year is different. “That’s kind of his style of play,” Bitonio said. “But I think he just is so good at compartmentalizing the play-by-play. He plays one play and he’s always talking about the next play, the next drive, and I think he does a great job of doing that.” The Browns should still view themselves as sellers prior to the November 5 trade deadline and they should still prepare to be a big factor in the offseason quarterback market. It might be best long term if they don’t have many more Sundays like they had against Baltimore the rest of the season .Stefanski‘s job is to keep his locker room engaged and believing, making sure that when they come to work every day, it doesn‘t feel like they’re playing out the string.
