The offense didn’t grind to a halt every time something bad happened. The ball was leaving Winston’s hand on time and going where it was supposed to go — well, most of the time — and the passing game didn’t feel like it was operating in a phone booth.Tougher defenses will present tougher challenges, but it sure feels nice to feel good about the offense for once.
The Ravens already had the worst passing defense in the league on Sunday before playing this game without two of their starting cornerbacks, but they haven’t exactly played a murderers’ row of defenses this season coming into Sunday. He made another big catch to convert a third-and-7 and give the Browns a chance to run out the clock and kick the game-winning field goal.
