Jakim to order 10-day mosque shutdown, says Perlis mufti

THE Islamic Affairs Department will be announcing all mosques in the country to close for 10 days to counter the spread of Covid-19, said Perlis mufti Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin. He said this was one of the decisions made in a meeting last night with Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah and religious affairs minister Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri.
