The veteran defensive lineman is currently on injured reserve.
Updated September 27, 2023 6:34 PMThe Jacksonville Jaguars provided an update on defensive lineman DaVon Hamilton on Wednesday, announcing that Hamilton will remain in Jacksonville as the team travels to London for two weeks.
Hamilton was placed on injured reserve before Week 1 with a non-football-related medical issue with his back. Since then, there has been little in terms of a timeline or specifics with Hamilton's status. "We want to keep him here so there’s no setbacks, we’re in a different part of the world obviously and we want to keep things pretty consistent around him right now, he’s on a good track for getting back soon.”
Hamilton has appeared in 46 games for the Jaguars, starting 30. In that span, he has recorded 132 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and four pass deflections.
