Speaking after the result was declared at the University of Bath, Sir Jacob congratulated Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer on "what seems to be a historic victory". Reacting to the result, Mr Norris said: "This is my home. I'm deeply proud of all our communities and want our part of the world to be the best it can be."This is a victory for integrity, no more one rule for them, another for everyone else."Turnout in the constituency was 69.17%, representing 51,125 voters."If your party is unpopular, then the fact that you may have been a good constituency MP is not going to win an election," he said.
