KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 — Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli chuckled today when asked about a toothpaste parcel that supposedly contained cannabis — an illegal drug — from an anonymous sender.“Because I don't take weed,” the Pandan MP added.

Police seized a parcel containing a tube of toothpaste yesterday, which they suspected to contain cannabis extract.Rafizi confirmed the parcel was addressed to him and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.“I don't know but the parcel was addressed to me and the prime minister,” he said.

According to Wan Kamarul, on March 10 at approximately 6.30pm, two police officers together with the complainant had gone to a delivery centre in Sepang where the parcel was confiscated. The tube of the toothpaste was labelled “Happy Green” with patterns of marijuana leaves in green and white. The police found that the item was bought through an online shopping platform under an address in Indonesia.
