Isobel Rosenthal, MD, MBA, is a double board-certified, Columbia-, Cornell-, and Mount Sinai-trained adult, child & adolescent psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and co-founder of Nema Health.

is a double board-certified psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and co-founder and Medical Director of Nema Health, a virtual PTSD treatment company. She brings a background in the humanities to her work and draws on both psychodynamic and cognitive therapy.

Rosenthal comes from a family of mental health clinicians, and believes in the importance of mindfulness and physical exercise in addition to psychiatric treatment. Rosenthal is a graduate of Yale College, where her senior thesis won the top prize in American History. She received her medical education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She went on to receive her MBA from Columbia Business School and completed her residency in adult psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital. Believing that training in the full lifespan of her patients would allow her to help them the most, Rosenthal completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital . She was selected as one of two fellows in the public track, spending time as a psychiatrist in New York City public schools.
