The Invincible TV show has become increasingly complex, and one storyline involving Titan and the Order is hindering the show's progress. The author argues this particular plot has become repetitive and less engaging compared to other, more significant arcs, and should be removed to allow the show to focus on the more compelling storylines.

Throughout the four seasons of the Invincible TV show, all kinds of storylines have been introduced, but one really needs to go away before season 5. Each season of Invincible introduces new superheroes, villains, and storylines, but very rarely does the show finish a story off.

So, Invincible has become an increasingly tangled web of loose ends, with each storyline vying for time to develop. This means that some storylines will inevitably get left behind, and rather than hurt one of Invincible's more interesting arcs, the show should just get rid of this one. Invincible's storyline problem has only gotten worse in season 4, with one of the points of episode 1 being that the amount of threats is so overwhelming that it is breaking Mark. Season 4 not only builds off of Conquest's attack on Earth, but it also introduces an intergalactic villain known as Universa, brings the Sequids to Earth, and features an eco-terrorist dinosaur. The story of Invincible is getting more and more complex, and while many of these storylines tie into each other, one is completely doing its own thing. Invincible's Storyline With Titan & The Order Is Season 4's Least Interesting Plot Titan and the Order have been around since season 1 of Invincible, and they are back again in season 4, episode 3. Originally, Invincible helped Titan take down Machine Head and his gang of superpowered thugs. This was meant to act as Invincible's street-level story, with Mark interfering in the world of organized crime before taking on more powerful threats like the Viltrum Empire. Eventually, Titan took over Machine Head's criminal empire, launching a conflict with the Order that Mark had to deal with in later seasons. However, this storyline is still not done, as Titan is now working with Machine Head in order to get his spot in the Order. This storyline has appeared in every season of Invincible, and it really needs to stop after season 4. Compared to other storylines like Mark and Eve's relationships, the Sequids, the Guardians of the Globe, Nolan and Allen's preparation for the Viltrumite War, and everything else, Titan and the Order just aren't nearly as interesting. The arc has just gone around in circles since the beginning, and based on how powerful Mark is now, it seems beneath him. The big problem with the Titan storyline is that it seemingly doesn't tie into anything else. Each of Invincible's other storylines feels like it's building to something, but the same can't be said for Titan and the Order. It always seems like Invincible's overarching story comes to a screeching halt whenever Titan shows up, but it doesn't have to be this way. Invincible has already made a lot of changes to the comics, and if that's what it takes for the TV show to move on from Titan and the Order, then it needs to be done. Related Invincible Season 4's Rotten Tomatoes Debut Score Continues A Rare Streak Invincible returns to Prime Video with season 4, and the Rotten Tomatoes debut score continues a rare streak for the hit animated superhero series. Posts By Matthew Rudoy Invincible Season 4 Has Other Business To Be Getting On With Invincible season 4 has already introduced a lot of storylines, and the Titan story only acts as a distraction for them. The main story of season 4 is the Coalition of Planets' preparation for the Viltrumite War. It took all of episode 2 to explore this, meaning that Mark was completely absent. If the Viltrumite War storyline means that there will be whole episodes without Mark, then. season 4 really shouldn't be wasting Mark's limited screentime by focusing on Titan. However, there are even Mark-centered storylines that need to be more important than whatever's going on with Titan and the Order. The Damian Darkblood story that was teased at the end of season 3 is incredibly exciting, as it is an original story that wasn't present in the comics. On top of that, the Dinosaurus storyline and Mark's conflict with Cecil are far more interesting and important to the show's main story. Unless Invincible season 4 can quickly justify why Titan and the Order are back, the show needs to get rid of it. 193 8.9/10 8/10 Invincible 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed TV-MA Animation Adventure Action Superhero Release Date March 26, 2021 Network Amazon Prime Video Showrunner Robert Kirkman, Simon Racioppa Writers Robert Kirkman Franchise Invincible 9 Images Close Cast See All
