Gerrard was appointed manager of Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia in July 2023, but his wife Alex and their four children have opted to live in Bahrain
Alex Curran has been living a life of luxury since her husband took up a managerial role in the Middle East.
Despite being one of the highest-paid coaches globally, his family declined the offer of a house in Damman, Saudi Arabia. Instead, Alex and their four children are based in Bahrain. The Gulf nation is conveniently located near Damman, where Al-Ettifaq are headquartered, allowing them to lead a glamorous lifestyle.
Model and fashion columnist Curran first started dating Gerrard in 2002, tying the knot five years later. Since relocating to the Middle East, it's been reported that the 41-year-old enjoys her time at the Bahrain World Trade Center in Manama, a hub for luxury fashion brands, and The Avenues, a waterfront shopping centre.
The family has also been seen having fun at the Bahrain rugby club. The couple share four children: Lilly-Ella, 20; Lexie, 18; Lourdes, 12 and Lio, 7. Their youngest kids attend a prestigious English language school in Bahrain, where fees are nearly £11k per child.
