Steven Gerrard left his role as Aston Villa manager back in 2023 to take charge of Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, with his wife Alex and their children choosing to live in Bahrain
Since Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard took up a job in the Middle East, his wife Alex has been living a life of luxury. Gerrard , the former Reds captain, was appointed as the manager of Saudi Arabian team Al-Ettifaq in July 2023 after being let go by Aston Villa. He managed to secure several high-profile players last summer, including ex-Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson , and extended his contract until 2027 at the start of this year.
Despite Al-Ettifaq manager Gerrard dividing his time between two countries, the couple still find ways to enjoy family life. They hold memberships at the exclusive Four Seasons, which features the Cut restaurant by Michelin star chef Wolfgang Puck, and the Ritz Carlton, where Premier League games are shown in an open-air bar. The family has also been seen spending time at the Bahrain rugby club. The pair have four children: Lilly-Ella, 20, Lexie, 18, Lourdes, 12, and Lio, 7.
