The Institute of Local Governments has honored the city for creative, local and sustainable solutions.
The city was awarded for going above and beyond state mandates, highlighting creative and local solutions for addressing climate sustainability in 10 areas.
The League of Women Voters of Piedmont will host a City Council candidates forum at 7 p.m. Sept. 22.
