Amid a partial government shutdown, ICE deployed personnel from the DHS to BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport on Saturday afternoon.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement deployed personnel from the Department of Homeland Security tothat ICE personnel's work will be similar to their roles during recent deployments across the nation, including Dulles International Airport and Reagan National Airport. Trained, skilled TSA personnel will continue working primary aviation security functions, including passenger and baggage screening, according to officials.
