The man was charged with aggravated rape of a child and rape of a child with force in June.

Hernandez-Rodas was convicted in Bridgeport, Connecticut District Court for a “breach of peace" in 2011. He was sentenced to six months in prison, a six-month suspended sentence and one year of probation for the offense. He was convicted of the same crime in Norwalk, Connecticut District Court in 2016. He received a $100 fine.
“Maynor Francisco Hernandez-Rodas stands accused of horrific crimes against a Massachusetts child,” ERO Boston Acting Field Office Director Patricia Hyde said. “He represents a significant danger to the children of our community that we will not tolerate. ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing egregious noncitizen threats from our New England neighborhoods.”
