A Lorain woman is working to get a security deposit but says her wait continues months after moving. However, after 19 Troubleshooters had worked the story for a day, it appeared that a solution has emerged.
LORAIN, Ohio - Young says she was displaced twice while living at Springer Health Care Systems.
“They sent everyone a letter stating that if we could pack everything back up, they would forward our deposit and take care of that first month rent,” said Young. She worked with Section Eight, who assists her with rent payments, to move out but has yet to receive her security deposit, which she says is all out of pocket.
The complex also issued her a refund check over the summer, but only for $103, not the full $500 she says she is owed.
